Benue State University (BSU), Makurdi is one of Nigeria’s reputable state-owned universities, established in 1992 by the Benue State Government. Since its inception, BSU has grown steadily in academic strength, research output, and professional training, serving students from across Nigeria and beyond.
The university was created to expand access to higher education in Benue State and promote human capital development in areas such as agriculture, health sciences, law, education, and social sciences. Admission Requirements Undergraduate Admission
Admission into BSU is regulated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the university’s internal screening guidelines.

Meet the approved JAMB cut-off mark for their chosen course
Possess at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings
